Laguna Vista’s Parks Board will meet Tuesday, June 28 at 6 p.m. to begin design and development of approximately $1 million worth of various community recreational areas.
Discussion of a master plan for four separate parks will be discussed, including a new $800,000 facility at Roloff Park, a new $125,000 jogging/walking trail on a 15 acre tract of land, improvements to the vacant lot at Tanglewood Apartments and at Veterans Park.
At their June 14 regular meeting, Town Council members gave approval to GMS Architects to develop a master plan for improvements to Roloff Park, and to design and prepare construction plans for a walking/jogging trail on the 15 acre tract of land set aside for recreational use.
