Joe Lopez, 50, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy 10 years ago, yet despite his handicap, he found the skill to share Christ with any he believes needs to see Him.
In two years’ time, Lopez has sketched more than 300 portraits of The Christ and given them away to people he felt needed to see the face of God – all this without more than his high school art classes for training.
“Their reaction is very positive, very sentimental. It touches a lot of people,” Lopez said. “What I found out is that it affects everybody in a good way. No matter where you come from or who you are, it always has a good impact on the person.”
