Freedom Beach Fest comes to SPI

There will be many ways to celebrate the Fourth of July this year and amongst them is the Freedom Beach Fest at Schlitterbaun Water Park on the Island on Fri­day, July 1.

The celebration features the Eli Young Band, Kevin Fowler and Band of Hea­thens.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Mike Eli, of the Eli Young Band, got together with his fellow band mem­bers, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson in their college years at the University of North Texas.
