Special to the Parade
Manny Torres has only been kayak fishing for three years now, but he instantly fell in love with the sport.
He has managed to become one of the few Kayak fishing guides to become certified thru the American Canoe Association as well as the Texas Parks and Wildlife. You see, to Manny kayak fishing isn’t a hobby… it’s a way of life. A lot of the locals know he is the one to call for advice.
Manny attributes part of his success to the great products he uses every day, but he is also someone who is always ready to try new gear. One of those items is Midcoast Products Fishing Corks. Hopefully I’ll be able to try some of his great products next week when I spend a day out on the water with him. I will definitely let you know how the day went.
You can contact Manny at (956) 241-8333 or look him up on the web at rodbendersllm.com. I know he is going to have his work cut out for him trying to get me to hook a red, what he doesn’t know is that I am the catfish king of South Texas. I am one of the few persons in the Valley who can cast into a school of reds and come out with a catfish.
Well, we will have to see how he does.
As Always, stay safe, always wear your P.F.D., and test your whistle every now and then. See you out on the water.
