Bids for Laguna Vista’s new walking trail are scheduled for publication here, marking the beginning of what officials hope is the start of the construction of that long-awaited project.
Bid award is anticipated on Dec. 13 at the Town Council meeting, according to Rolando Vela, city manager.
“The architect has finished the plans and the (Texas Parks & Wildlife Department) trail coordinator has approved them, Vela told the Parks and Recreation Board Tuesday. The Board is overseeing conceptual development of the trail.
