Kids are not mules
Dear Editor,
This is a call to all the parents of our junior high students. Our students walk around all day loaded down with their backpacks. They may not carry many books, but when you add all the notebooks and paperwork for seven classes, the weight is more than a child should carry day-in and day-out.
The lockers are stuffed with paper goods, utensils, cleaning supplies and school supplies because if lockers were to be issued to our children, …
