Port Isabel Police Chief Gualbero “Wally” Gonzalez reported that on Jan. 3, police from his department received a tip from an anonymous source that there was an illegal operation where fraudulent credit cards were going to be used in the city and other specific locations around the Valley.
Police proceeded to investigate and found that ICE and Secret Service agencies were working on similar cases.
