With her contagious smile and extraordinary visions for the historic Lighthouse Square, Barbara J. Friedman continues to leave her presence with a majestic bronze monument unveiled Wednesday morning on the corner of Maxan and Garcia in Port Isabel.
As Mayor Joe E. Vega said, “This marks the two-year anniversary of her passing, and Barbara has been very instrumental in the growth of the lighthouse square, as well as other communities in the Laguna Madre.”
