Probe continues in cheating allegations

gavelInvestigations are still ongoing in the Ladies Kingfish Tournament cheating scandal, which resulted in the indictment of seven people accused of fraud.

Game Warden Jason Duke said he believes there is enough evidence against the accused to prove a third degree felony charge.

The case report will be sent to the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution, Jason Duke said. A court date is to be determined.
