Another body found in Laguna Madre waters

emergency-lightsThe Port Isabel-South Padre PRESS is receiving reports of a body found in Laguna Madre waters earlier this morning.

The U.S. Coast Guard is reportedly assisting to retrieve the body, which was said to be found in the vicinity of FM 510 and Highway 100 near Paradise Cove, a Laguna Vista subdivision.

Details regarding the victim’s sex as well as the circumstances of its discovery remain unclear as of 11 a.m. Attempts to reach officials with the Cameron County Sheriff’s Department have thus far been unsuccessful.
