Kayak tours run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with about two hours on the water. Reservations are required.

Great introductory trip. Learn basics of kayaking and get a pretty detailed account of the natural history of the area. Usually see many organisms and discuss their role(s) in the ecosystem as the trip takes place..

One note: I believe the transportation is from the visitors center to the put in then back to the visitors center. Participants must provide their own transport from their home to the LANWR Visitor Center.
