Children’s Museum offers summer camps

Special to the Parade

The Children’s Museum of Brownsville invites all parents to sign their children up for a summer experience at the museum.

Each camp is one week long from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. Children will not only learn something new but have a ton of fun at the same time.

This year’s lineup includes Super Hero Adventure from June 10-14 for kids 5-8 years old; ART World from June 17-21 for kids 6-8 years old; Muppet Mania from June 24-28 for kids 3-5 years old; Very Important Princes (V.I.P) from July 8-12 for kids 5-8 years old; Animal Planet from July 15-19 for kids 5-8 years old; Star Wars from July 22-26 for kids 5-8 years old; Dr. Seuss from July 29-August 2 for kids 3-5 years old; and Mad Scientist from August 5-9 for kids 5-8 years old.

Registration is currently ongoing.

Established in 2005, the museum’s mission is to introduce children to a world of learning through hands on, creative and interactive exhibits, workshops and special events. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 12 noon to 4 p.m.
