Tarps Show improvement against Donna North

The Port Isabel Tarpons basketball team lost their second straight game to open the 2014-15 season Monday afternoon, but showed considerable improvement against the visiting Chiefs of Donna North High.

The final score was 57-48 and, although Port Isabel twice took short-lived leads in the second half of the contest, the Tarpons trailed at each break along the way and throughout most of the game. As school is out all this week for Thanksgiving break the game was played Monday afternoon in Tarpon Gym.
