Poodle crime

At approximately 6:40 p.m. on April 24, an officer was dispatched in regards to an animal call. Upon arrival the officer made contact with a woman who stated she was walking her dog around the east 100 block of Harrison Street when a white poodle attacked her black dog. The woman stated that she wanted something done on the situation. The officer then made contact with the owner of the white poodle. An animal control officer arrived on scene and cited the owner of the dog running at large. The police officer gathered all the information for a report and went back on patrol.

Victoria’s Secret Stash

At approximately 10:11 p.m. on April 24, a Port Isabel police officer was notified by dispatch that Laguna Vista officers had a woman detained in Laguna Vista because she had a municipal warrant out of Port Isabel. Dispatch advised that the warrant was confirmed. The officer then placed the woman under arrest and transported her to the Port Isabel City Jail. While in booking the woman stated that she had marijuana in her possession. She then pulled a clear plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance out of her bra area. Police then cited the woman for the marijuana and booked her for the municipal warrant. No further action taken.
