Four appointed to Improvement District TIRZ

The City of Port Isabel moved one step closer in progressing Public Improvement District No. 1 (PID) Tuesday by appointing four people to the PID’s Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ).

The appointments were the sole item on the agenda of the City Commission meeting, which was moved up from its regular 7 p.m. start time to 12:15 p.m.
