A new lease agreement between the Town of Laguna Vista and the Laguna Vista Recreation Association is in the works after officials here instructed attorney Ricardo Morado to prepare a document to regulate the operations at the town-owned marina.
Upon its completion, the proposed lease will be submitted to the Association for their review and action, according to City Manager Rolando Vela..
A survey of the marina vicinity was recommended by the Town Council at its meeting on Feb. 9. “A survey will afford the parties an accurate description of the property to be leased,” Vela said.
