The Port Isabel Tarpons boys’ basketball team was on the road Monday night and took the rematch with Harlingen’s Marine Military Academy, 79-38.
The Tarpons’ winning streak is now at four games and includes last Friday’s 70-47 home win over Donna North.
The win at MMA gave the Tarpons the sweep in their two-game series with the Leathernecks. The Tarpons won 64-39 in Tarpon Gym back on Nov. 14 to open the 2017-2018 season.
Port Isabel is competing in this weekend’s C. E. Vail Classic tournament at La Feria and the Tarpons will not return to their home court until their district opener against La Feria on Dec. 19.
