Ring in the new year in exhilarating fashion by taking a dip in the frigid winter waters of the Gulf of Mexico on New Year’s Day!

Hundreds of people are expected to participate in the 21st Annual Polar Bear Dip at Clayton’s Beach Bar come high noon on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019.

The annual event goes on, rain or shine, whether or not Jack Frost nips at your nose. Tuesday’s forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-60s, with a 64 percent chance of rain. Things might feel a little chillier, however, as strong winds are expected to continue into the first day of the year.
