A shooting occurred outside the Coral Reef Lounge on South Padre Island at about 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Petty Officer 2nd class Richard Kenneth Biffle of the US Coast Guard was arrested and charged with deadly conduct.
South Padre Island Police responded, arriving at 5401 Padre Boulevard to investigate the situation.
