Port Isabel police reported the arrest of a suspect believed responsible in a recent rash of burglaries.
According to Port Isabel Police Department (PIPD) Chief Gualberto “Wally” Gonzalez, 46-year-old Jose Angel Ramirez has been arrested on three counts of burglary of a building, a state jail felony.
The businesses hit in the burglaries include Verandas Nursery, two counts, and Guerrero’s Paint Shop, one count.
