Development of a seawall along the Port Isabel coastline near Island Avenue, Bass and Tarpon streets have raised growing concerns among the property owners living in that area.
On Tuesday, Ron Berman, of Raybec Investments, updated the Port Isabel Improvement District (PID) Board about the status of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineer permit to build the seawall. The project also involves building wide culverts under Island Avenue.
