Dina Nadeyer Theharnea, daughter of white Russian parents who fled the Red Army Revolution, passed away April 19, 2014 at Harlingen Medical Center. She and two older sisters were born in Shanghai, China. Dina and her parents arrived in American after the conclusion of WWII and were stateless, but glad to be here.
Dina married Gar Treharne and is survived by him, their son Rusty and two grandsons Tyler and Greg. She was a proud American.
Memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, 10 a.m., at Chapel by the Sea on the Island.
In lieu of flowers a contribution to the South Padre Community Foundation at P.O. Box 2734, South Padre Island, Texas 78597.
