The Port Isabel Tarpons remain undefeated on the season after dispatching the Hidalgo Pirates at home on Friday.
The Tarpons (3-0) will next travel to Valley View on Friday, Sept. 19, to take on the winless Tigers, who fell to Cigarroa on Friday by a score of 28-0. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Like the storied 2013 campaign in which the Tarpons went undefeated in regular season play, Port Isabel has looked unstoppable this year after trouncing Grulla 29-9, outscoring Rio Grande City 36-27 and now defeating the Pirates 38-17.
