Port Isabel police suspect that alcohol may have played a role in a fatal car crash that reportedly occurred near Highway 100 and Tarnava Street over last weekend.
The accident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19. According to authorities, the driver, 20-year-old Johnny Anthony Moore, collided with multiple palm trees before hitting a light pole.
