Fall festival slated by OLSS Church

A fall festival featuring family fun and games for the Laguna Madre area is scheduled Oct. 8-9 by Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel.

Chalupa games with prizes, a country store, cake walks and children’s games will be conducted on the church grounds.

Featured is a bazaar raffle with top prizes including a $2,500 gift card, Caribbean cruise for two to Cozumel, Belize and Mahogany Bay valued at $1,273, and tickets for two to the Dallas Cowboy-Washington Redskin football game on Nov. 24 valued at $1,240, overnight stays at Bridgepoint Condominiums and Isla Grand Beach Resort, as well as appliances, and electronic equipment will be awarded to winners.
