WELFARE CONCERN/PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On July 1, 2023, at approximately 22:20 hours, officers were dispatched to the 7300 block of Padre Boulevard in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female subject who displayed signs of intoxication and she was subsequently arrested. The female subject was transported to the South Padre Island City Jail where she was booked and processed properly.
PHYSICAL DISTURBANCE: On July 1, 2023, at approximately 23:10 hours, officers responded to The Tiki Condominiums, located at 6608 Padre Boulevard, in reference to two males fighting. Two males were arrested for disorderly conduct by fighting.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS OF HABITATION/WARRANT: On July 2, 2023, South Padre Island Police Officers arrested a male subject at 126 E Huisache St, for an outstanding warrant out of Denton County Sheriffs Office while addressing a criminal trespass call.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: On July 3, 2023, at approximately 01:47 hours, officers were dispatched to 2305 Laguna Boulevard in reference to an intoxicated male subject. Upon arrival, contact was made with the reporting party and an investigation was conducted. After the investigation, a male subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On July 4, 2023, at approximately 02:59 hours, officers observed a male subject walking north bound on Gulf Boulevard and having difficulty balancing. Officers made contact with the male subject who displayed signs of intoxication and he was subsequently arrested. The male subject was transported to the South Padre Island City Jail where he was booked and processed properly.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On July 4, 2023, at approximately 06:16 hours, officers were dispatched to La Isla, located at 150 Padre Boulevard, in reference to two subjects sitting in a car in the parking lot with loud music playing. Officers made contact with one male in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, who was placed under arrest for public intoxication and released a female occupant to a sober party.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION BY MINOR: On July 7, 2023, at around 02:13 hours, officers made contact with two male subjects walking east on west Amberjack Street displaying signs of intoxication to check their welfare. The investigation determined that the subjects were in fact highly intoxicated and were determined to be under the age of twenty-one. The subjects were arrested for the offense of public intoxication by a minor.
