For the past ten years, H-E-B representatives have traveled across the Lone Star State searching for the best Texas made local products to be put on their shelves, giving everyone the chance to win $25,000 and have their product on shelves across Texas.
According to a H-E-B announcement, the chain is beginning its search again for the 11th year and it opened its submission window on Wednesday, February 21 — Thursday, April 4, at 5 p.m. All submissions are received online through the registration website.
A two-minute video submission is required. Contestants must be sure to make entries as creative, fun, and enticing as possible. All submissions should include; how and where the products are made, images of the actual product, why should H-E-B select said product as Texas best, and anything else contestants feel H-E-B should know that would help said product in the finalist rounds.
H-E-B is providing four online informational meetings, and they all last an hour and a half. Contestants must register for a free ticket and attend a meeting as part of registration. Meetings are scheduled as follows: March 6, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., March 13, 10 – 11:30 a.m., March 31, 1 – 2:30 p.m., and March 27, 1 – 2:30 p.m.
