Former officer sentenced for sexual assault
PRESS Staff Report A jury this week found former Harlingen police officer Elias Cardona guilty of a 2013 sexual assault and sentenced him to eight years probation. Cardona, 35, was off duty when he was arrested on South Padre Island during Spring Break in March 2013.
