Valley students received some good Karma in the form of an educational boat.

Nearly 600 students boarded Karma, a floating classroom provided by The Texas Sea Grant College Program.

Being seasick was the least of their worries as the students took on the educational depths of the Gulf of Mexico.

From plankton to butterfly rays, the students saw firsthand just what is lurking in the waters of South Padre Island.
