Special to the PRESS
The event is scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 2-5 p.m. and then from 6-9 p.m.
Classes normally run about two hours, including time for questions and answers and a brief open-book quiz at the end of the session.
At the class, you will receive a Basic Spotters Field Guide. “Upon successfully completing the course and quiz, we will send out a welcome letter, a laminated Spotter ID card, a certificate of recognition and a Skywarn bumper sticker,” a Skywarn press release read.
