Special to the Parade
HIDALGO – Another Disney alum will share the stage at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo with Demi Lovato for BorderFest.
Shane Harper of Disney’s “Good Luck, Charlie” and “High School Musical 2” has just been added as support for the show.
Harper’s self-titled debut album was just released last week exclusively at Target by Deep Well Records – the first release for the record label founded by Glee Executive Music Producer Adam Anders.
Anders, who is also the music producer for the upcoming film “Rock of the Ages,” discovered Harper through MySpace and quickly signed him to his new record label.
Shane Harper’s first single, “One Step Closer,” made the top ten on Radio Disney and his current single “Rocketship” is quickly climbing the charts.
The 19-year-old actor, dancer and singer/songwriter toured last year, opening for Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson.
Up next for Harper will be to open for Demi Lovato on Sunday, March 4 at BorderFest.
