Initial campaign reports for Laguna Vista candidates for Town Council show Betty Landers Bell has raised and spent more on her campaign bid than have her counterparts.
Ian K. Monroe also submitted his report prior to the deadline, raising and spending substantially less in his first bid to elective office, according to his reports.
Of the four candidates seeking two seats on the Town Council, only Bell and Monroe completed campaign expense reports as of Tuesday. Richard Hinojosa and Leti Keplinger had not submitted the documents, according to officials at Laguna Vista City Hall.
