The South Padre Island City Council held its regular meeting Wednesday.
The council approved Resolution 2012-16 that establishes procedure for a general election on November 6. Seats that will be on the ballot are Place 2, Place 3 and Place 5.
A $2,500 grant from the USDA was accepted by the city council with a grant agreement.
Ordinance 12-09 had its final reading. The ordinance amends chapter 22 of the city’s code by adopting the Erosion Response Plan.
