The Lady Tarpons hosted their annual Volley at the Beach Tournament Thursday at Port Isabel High School.
The tournament was a two-loss elimination competition. The teams present at the tournament were Laredo United South, Weslaco East, Brownsville Veterans Memorial, Laredo Nixon, Frontier, Los Fresnos, Harlingen South, Brownsville Hanna, Zapata, Edinburg North and West Oso.
The Lady Tarpons lost close matches against Brownsville Veterans Memorial and Edinburg North. Head Coach George Hamilton said his team played well in the later matches.
