Annual ‘Vibrant Heritage’ Mexican Artisan Expo slated

There fourth edition of the “Vibrant Heritage” Mexican Artisan Expo hosted by the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, is shaping up to be an event you don’t want to miss.

The Artisan Expo will be part of the very successful McAllen International Travel Show scheduled for January 9 and 10 at the McAllen Convention Center. The Travel Show draws around 14,000 people where exhibitors from different cities and states as well as other countries attend to promote their cities or locations as tourism destinations.

Now included in the show will be more than 50 artisans from various regions in Mexico who will showcase some of the best arts, clothing, crafts and candies Mexico is renowned for. In addition to this, performers from the interior of Mexico and the Rio Grande Valley will entertain visitors of all ages with musical live performances and other talents.

Entrance to the Mexican Expo is free to the public.

The event times are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 9 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 10. For more information, call Luis Cantu at (956) 682 2871.
