The South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the Laguna Madre Humane Society and staff of Whiskers ‘n Things invite the public to the Ribbon Cutting and Mixer on Tuesday, January 15, for Whiskers ‘n Things new location at 2500 Padre Blvd., (next door to Jake’s Flowers).
The mixer will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the ribbon cutting taking place at 6 p.m.
Whiskers ‘n Things sales proceeds benefit the animals in the care of the Laguna Madre Humane Society. Shop inventory comes from the generous donations of local residents and LMHS supporters from all over the world. The first shop was located on Hickman St. in Port Isabel. In 2003 the shop was relocated to 5800 Padre Blvd., and moved into their most current location in November 2012.
