Marne Law is offering her popular workshop on her Illusionary Painting style at the Art Gallery on Maxan Street in Port Isabel for a second time this year.

It is a three-day workshop held on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (February 10, 11, and 12) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Sign up at the Art Gallery behind the lighthouse.

This class is open to everyone who wants to learn unique watercolor techniques. Students will learn how to make their subjects look as if you can see through them using clean, transparent washes. They will pick a familiar subject of their choice and paint it in a totally different and exciting way. This technique will make their ordinary paintings into extraordinary paintings and the students will gain a better understanding of good design done in a fun way.

This workshop is limited to 12 students. A list of further supplies needed is available at the gallery. Sign up at the Laguna Madre Art Gallery at 405 Maxan St., or call (956) 943-1407 to put your name on the list.

Are you having any watercolor classes in January 2015? I love your work. We are only there for January and seem to miss the timing of your classes every year.
