Mr. Daigle was like a father to me. He was the best friend i ever had. He and I would use walkie talkies like in the movie Smokey and the Bandit to make him laugh. he helped me with my work we use to play basket ball We use to walk on the track. WE use to talk about Top Gear a show on the british tv. I chose a present for him on the last month of school. I sent him a card with my picture hoping he would fight to come back to me. WW ate lunch together everyday. Breakfast too.
I am Louie’s mom and I can say whole heartedly that he will be missed till my son’ dying day. Louie has a form of autism and suffered a lot in his growing years. Bullied by schoolmates and sadly some teachers. I didn’t have any expectations when Louie started school but we were blessed with Mr. Daigle. Louie woke up early everyday to go to school eagerly he barely missed a day by choice. When vacations would pass Louie would cry because he was not going to be seeing Mr. Daigle. Upon hearing of his passing Louie has become very sad and has triggers that are easily set off into fits of anger. But at night when he sleeps he screams. Louie loves and will always love Mr Daigle like a father. My husband and I have taken the news hard as well we try to assure Louie that Mr Daigle was a wonderful man. and if there was anyone on this earth that deserved a straight ticket to heaven it was Mr. Daigle. We are all put on this Earth for a purpose that only God knows why. But sometimes there is more than one purpose. I believe Mr Daigle was Louie’s guiding Angel who got his wings much too soon for our family as well as everyone else’s. I saw Mr Daigle do miracles with my son he was the one who taught my son to believe and fly. At our last ARD Louie said he wanted to be a pilot and Mr Daigle was talking about all the plans he had wanted for Louie for the 8th grade. It hurts to hear my son mention suicide but I remind him that Mr Daigle would not want that for him. And when Louie becomes a pilot to fly high across the sky and wave. Louie has already picked out a star that he believes is Mr Daigle So he stays out until night time and talks to him. THERE ARE NO WORDS IN ANY LANGUAGE TO DESCRIBE WHO AND WHAT MR DAIGLE BROUGHT TO THIS WORLD. HEAVEN GAINED AN AMAZING ANGEL THAT WE WERE SO HONORED TO HAVE HERE WITH US EVEN IF FOR MY FAMILY IT WAS ONLY A YEAR THANK YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS MR DAIGLE OUR LIVES HAVE BEEN FOREVER CHANGED THANKS TO YOU

  2. “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” ~~ Albert Pine This quote resonates with me when I think of Danny’s gifts of love and compassion for others. May we all be inspired and transformed by his kindness and generous, loving heart. This is the grandest part of his immortality. Rest in peace, Danny.

To the Daigle family; We are praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. If it is possible for heaven to be a kinder place, certainly it is, with two Dan Daigles in residence. Our deepest regrets we will be unable to attend the service, but you will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Blessings to you all.

Doug, Gina, Kimberly and Ana Treuter
