Philippine Madrigal Singers to perform

The Filipino Community of the Rio Grande Valley invites you to a musical performance by the international Philippine Madrigal Singers.

The singers will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in concert. The Madrigal Singers will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 at the parish hall of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Rd., Brownsville.

The Philippine Madrigal Singers, who perform in traditional Filipino attire, are considered the Philippine ambassadors of culture and goodwill. They have given worldwide performances for royalty and heads of state. Presently under the masterful direction of Mark Anthony Carpio, they continue to set new standards of excellence at a global level.
