On Friday, April 26, what happens in Mercedes, stays in Mercedes.
The Parent Teacher Association of the Montessori Academy in Harlingen will host “Viva Las Vegas” Casino Night on April 26 from 7-11 p.m. at the First National Bank ballroom in Mercedes.
The event promises a fun, glamorous night of casino games, dancing and prizes. The Master of Ceremonies for this fundraiser will be Jay Cantu of KISS 106.3 FM. Elvis impersonator Rene Davis will also perform.
Proceeds from this event will go toward a new school playground for the Montessori Academy of
