‘Walking on Sunshine’ set March 30

Sunny Glen Children’s Home in San Benito and Footworks of Harlingen teamed up March 7 to teach children the importance of good running shoes, a lesson that will be put to the test soon!

Each child was personally tested and fitted to his or her own running shoe size as Sunny Glen Children’s Home will also be hosting its First Annual “Walking On Sunshine” 5k one-mile “Fun Run” on Saturday, March 30, at McKelvey Park in Harlingen.

Pre-registration kicks off Friday at Footworks, located at 2224 South 77 Sunshine Strip, Ste. 94 in Harlingen.
