Last Thursday morning Port Isabel officers responded to a family violence assault on the 100 block of Port Road.
According to the victims, 23-year-old Rene Villarreal Jr. went to his ex-girlfriend Lucinda Martinez’ home, knocked on the door and when she answered the door Villarreal allegedly forced himself into the residence causing Martinez to hit her back on the counter.
