The atmosphere and the people. It’s a really cool work environment.

Everything: baseball, football, surfing, NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Championship.
What are your favorite dishes at Parrot Eyes?
The blackened fish enchiladas or the blackened shrimp tacos.
What do you think keeps people coming back to Parrot Eyes?
Parrot Eyes itself, everyone is drawn to us.
What is your favorite drink to make?
The Mark’s Margarita. It has Patron Silver, Grand Marnier, Parrot Eyes love and sweet and sour.
What do you like about bartending?
All the people I get to meet.
If you could make a drink for anyone, living or dead, celebrity or historical figure, who would it be and what would you make?
It would have to be Johnny Cash and some kind of strong whiskey like Black Label.
What skills make a successful bartender?
You’ve got to be friendly and outgoing and make them want to come back. Making drinks is the easy part.
