Football squad starts two-a-day practices

Port Isabel High football practice got underway Monday morning as dozens of prospective Tarpon players checked out equipment and headed out to the practice field adjacent to Tarpon Stadium.

As usual, there’s a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air that always comes with the approach of a new season.
