The Friends of the Port Isabel Public Library will meet at 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9 in the Conference Room, Port Isabel Public Library, 213 N. Yturria St. New members are always welcome! Membership fee is $10 per year.

News Staff Report On Saturday, Aug. 21, Cameron County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an assault in San Benito.
