The Port Isabel Tarpons seemed to be trying to prove that they hadn’t forgotten how to score quickly.
Of eight touchdown drives the previous week at home against La Feria, only one took two plays or less. Last Friday night at Bill Pate Stadium in Hidalgo, four of six TD drives used less than three plays, including the first three on which the end zone was gained on the first play.
