Lady Tarps fall to Lady Bulldogs, 62-53

The Port Isabel Lady Tarpons basketball team took an early lead against the Lady Bulldogs of Lyford but could not maintain it as they dropped a 62-53 decision at Tarpon Gym Monday night.
Port Isabel took a 4-2 lead on a three-pointer by Avery Colunga, only to see Lyford rattle off the next 16 points and go up 18-8 at the end of the opening quarter.
