Port Isabel police officers responded to a chilly scene on Tuesday on the south side of the Brownsville Ship Channel in which two Mexican nationals died attempting to illegally cross the border. A third national is currently being treated for hypothermia-related symptoms at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
