Jackie Davidson was born in Corsicana, TX, on January 27, 1939, and passed from this life on Sunday, January 12 in McAllen, TX. He was preceded in death by his parent, Mary and Raymond Davidson and his sister, Sharon Davidson.
He is survived by his beautiful wife Estelle; brother Raymond Davidson and wife, Alice Fay; daughter Kim Fawks and husband Keith; sons Jackie Davidson, Jr. and James Davidson (aka Chopper); granddaughters Tia Fawks Hardaway and husband Keith; Breanna Fawks; and Alexandria Davidson; grandson Cody Fawks; and great-granddaughter Marilyn Fawks; and in addition, numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, and of course, his little Maltese dog, “Baby Doll.”
A funeral service was held on January 17 at the Corley Funeral Home, Corsicana, TX, followed by a burial at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery, Corsicana. His pastor from the island, Jim Denham, officiated.
A memorial service will be held on Jackie’s birthday, January 27 at 2 pm at the Chapel by the Sea on South Padre Island.
