City receives $662k grant

The City of Port Isabel has been awarded a combined $662,515 in grant funding from the Texas General Land Office for the Arturo Galvan Coastal Park.
The funding will allow the start of construction of a Living Shoreline, part of the Arturo Galvan Coastal Park (formerly known as Derry Waterfront Park) to be built along the Laguna Madre Bay.
